Pay Band & Grade Pay: Rs.37400- 67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/- plus allowances such as DA, HRA, etc as per Govt. Rules
Eligibility criteria (+) : Officers of the Central Govt., Public Sector Undertakings and Statutory and Autonomous Bodies (i) holding equivalent post or (ii) Officers in Selection Grade with four years of regular service in that grade or (iii) Group 'A' officers having seventeen years of regular service in Group 'A' of which at least four years of regular service shall be in the Selection Grade.
Qualification (*):Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Law. Degree from a recognized university or equivalent in humanities, liberal arts, economics, commerce, science, management or engineering.
Desirable: -Post Graduate Degree in Law, economics, commerce, telecommunications, engineering or management. Experience:
Should have work experience in analyzing and dealing with cases and litigation in the High Court and Supreme Court or in similar Appellate Tribunals.
Should have work experience in examining policy issues from a legal perspective, and the drafting of statutory regulations, directions and rules.
Should be thoroughly familiar with court procedures and tendering of legal advice.
Also desirable is work experience in performing quasi judicial functions or administering tax laws or regulatory functions under a Central Government statute.
